CNC Lathes

Our CNC lathes can cater to a wide range of turning needs — from small-diameter bar stock to components up to 450mm in diameter and 600mm in length. We operate four CNC lathes, each equipped with a 12-tool turret to support complex turning operations with precision.

Bar feeders enable efficient high-volume production with minimal operator intervention, ensuring consistent accuracy and reliability across a variety of industrial applications.

High-Precision Machining with Advanced Automation

At Apollo Engineering, we combine cutting-edge technology with practical manufacturing expertise to deliver precision, efficiency, and flexibility across every machining task.

Our investment in automation includes the Okuma Multus U3000 CNC multitasking machine — a state-of-the-art mill-turn solution that enables complete machining in a single setup. This powerful multitasking centre streamlines operations by combining milling and turning functions, reducing handling, improving accuracy, and significantly shortening production cycles.

To further boost efficiency, we deploy machine-tending robots across our CNC machining centres, automating repetitive high-volume tasks with unmatched consistency. In our fabrication department, our collaborative welding robot (welding cobot) works alongside skilled technicians, improving weld quality and throughput while reducing manual strain.

This smart approach to automation allows Apollo Engineering to offer highly competitive rates for high-volume, repeatable parts, thanks to reduced labour input and faster cycle times. At the same time, our experienced team is free to focus on low-volume, custom fabrication and machining, ensuring we can meet the unique needs of every customer.

Whether you require precision components in bulk or one-off bespoke engineering solutions, Apollo Engineering delivers — with speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.
