Apollo Engineering a Finalist in Seven Categories at the 2026 Australian Manufacturing Awards

Apollo Engineering has been named a finalist in seven categories at the 2026 Australian Manufacturing Awards, including two of the Gold Awards, the programme's highest honours: Manufacturer of the Year and the Innovation Award.

The awards are run by Industry Update, the Australian manufacturing and industrial equipment magazine, and supported by the Victorian Government. Winners will be announced at the awards dinner at Crown Melbourne on Thursday 8 October 2026.

Our seven finalist categories

The spread of categories reflects what happens under one roof in Tamworth: contract manufacturing for industry, alongside the products we design and build ourselves.

About Apollo Engineering

Apollo Engineering is an Australian-owned manufacturer based in Tamworth, NSW, with approximately 70 employees. We provide end-to-end contract manufacturing services, including laser cutting, CNC folding and machining, fabrication, robotic and laser welding, and assembly.

We also design and manufacture our own range of automated industrial parts washers and Biofeed food-waste processing systems. Our Australian-made equipment is operating in 26 countries.

Regional employment matters to us, and so does developing the next generation of skilled manufacturing workers.

A second year as a finalist

This is Apollo's second year as a finalist at the Australian Manufacturing Awards. At the inaugural awards in Sydney in 2025, we were a finalist for Manufacturer of the Year. In 2024, Apollo won Manufacturer of the Year (50 or More Employees) at the Hunter Manufacturing Awards.
