2025 Year in Review:
The Year Apollo Raised the Bar for Australian Manufacturing

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re looking back on a year that didn’t just test our capabilities — it expanded them. From our home base in Tamworth, a regional powerhouse with a long history of innovation, Apollo Engineering delivered one of its biggest years yet across manufacturing, export, sustainability, and community impact.

This wasn’t just another year of getting the job done. 2025 was the year Apollo strengthened Australia’s sovereign manufacturing backbone and stepped further onto the global stage.

Advanced Laser Cutting Services by Apollo Engineering

Championing Sovereign Capability

With national discussions centred on Future Made in Australia, AUKUS, defence readiness, and reshoring of critical capabilities, 2025 was a reminder of how vital strong regional manufacturing is to Australia’s future.

This year, our work was recognised across the industry, with Apollo named finalists in three major awards:

  • Australian Manufacturing Awards
  • Waste Recycling Awards
  • Hunter Manufacturing Awards (HMA’s)

Reliability You Can Measure

We talk a lot about trust. In 2025, the numbers backed it up:

  • 9,000+ unique order lines dispatched
  • >90% DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time)

In manufacturing terms, that’s elite performance. Every percentage point represents a promise kept — whether we were delivering precision laser cutting, production welding, or large-scale fabrication for long-standing partners.

Our investment in next-generation laser welding technology continued paying off, lifting both quality and turnaround times and ensuring Apollo stays competitive with any manufacturer in the country.

A Breakout Year for
Parts Washers & Export

2025 marked one of the biggest jumps forward for our Parts Washer division.

Smarter Export Engineering

We re-engineered our flagship SW1612 (large spray washer) and AT5500 (Agitating Hot tank) units to be fully container-ready, allowing them to load directly into 40-foot high-top containers without custom crating.

It’s a small but impactful detail — saving international customers thousands before the machine is even switched on. This single innovation strengthens Australia’s ability to compete globally through smarter, simpler, more efficient manufacturing.

EziFoam Joins the Chemical Range

EziFoam added a high-performance foaming detergent to our expanding chemical line, bringing more power – and more versatility – to industrial cleaning.

EziBlast: Launch of a New Blasting Cabinet

We introduced EziBlast, our enclosed wet-blasting system with high-pressure cleaning and almost zero mess. Designed for workshops that value both performance and cleanliness.

Growing Our Footprint in Southeast Asia

Our export mission to Indonesia strengthened distributor relationships and opened new opportunities for Australian-made workshop equipment in key industrial markets.

Biofeed: Building a Cleaner, Circular Future

In 2025, our Biofeed division became even more important as businesses across NSW began preparing for the 2026 food waste mandates.

A standout moment was the glowing testimonial from Wesley College, proving Biofeed’s ability to turn organic waste into a resource while reducing landfill impact.

With regulations changing and sustainability climbing the priority list, Biodeed has firmly established itself as a go-to solution for organisations wanting to get ahead.

Backing Regional Skills & the Next Generation

Apollo has always believed that you don’t just build machines – you build up people.

Managing Director David Errington, who began as an apprentice at Apollo in 1993, continued to champion local skill development. Under his leadership, we supported around 60 high school students with materials and technical guidance through our Launch Pad program which has been developed to give students exposure to the industry and to target the best potential candidates for apprenticeships.

Investing in young people is investing in the future of Tamworth’s engineering workforce, and it remains one of the parts of our work we’re most proud of.

Building the Team Behind Apollo’s Next Phase of Growth

In 2025, Apollo expanded its sales and business development team with the addition of Nathaniel, who has joined us to help drive growth across our manufacturing service business. Nathaniel brings extensive experience from the sheet metal fabrication industry, along with a strong background in helping businesses adopt advanced manufacturing equipment for their internal processes. His expertise spans both technical understanding and the broader systems that support it — from engineering workflows to administrative structures. Nathaniel has integrated seamlessly into the team and is already strengthening our ability to support customers across multiple industries, ensuring our manufacturing service offering continues to grow in a structured and customer-focused way. Across the business, our development efforts this year were supported by a capable and aligned team:
  • Ben – Leading Biofeed growth
  • Toma – Driving innovation in Parts Washers and export markets
  • Nathaniel – Expanding our manufacturing service offering and opening new industry opportunities
Together, they ensure our capabilities stay aligned under one shared mission: deliver excellence, every time.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With expanded capabilities, new product lines, strengthened export pathways, and a growing role in Australia’s sovereign manufacturing story, Apollo enters 2026 stronger than ever.
Next year will see:

  • Continued expansion of the EziBlast range
  • More export-ready engineering innovations
  • Growing the national rollout of Biofeed
  • Further investment in automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
  • A deeper commitment to sustainable solutions for industry
We’re not slowing down — we’re gearing up.
